Ending the Semester with an Explosion
Replacing the majority of the core subject areas' midterms, sixth graders have been busily working on a cross-curricular project incorporating volcanoes. Working with a partner, students composed a research paper and developed a novel new idea incorporating their volcano to pitch to a CSN Shark Tank panel. After studying the costs to execute and creating an effective advertisement, the project culminated in student presentations in the G & L Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday, with the top three Shark Tank ideas being awarded a special prize. All of the student presentations were amazing and the scores were very close. Congratulations to Hadley Murphey, Kelly McAuley, Tucker Claremont, Sadie Lipman, Julian Miller, and Howard Gleason.
