Seahawks Swim and Dive at States

CSN's swimmers and diver did an incredible job on Sunday, November 15 at the 1A State Meet in Stuart, FL after it was postponed by Tropical Storm ETA earlier in the week. Matt Molloy '21 finished his final swim meet for CSN with top eight for his two events. He broke the 200 IM school record with a time of 1:54.40 while placing 6th in the state. In the 500 free, he had another great swim, placing 8th.

Charlie Krauss '22 had a perfect trifecta, breaking three school records in the 50, 100 and 200 yard free.  His 50 free time was 21.77 and his 200 free time was 1:41.59, replacing records from 2014. His 100 free time was 46.58, replacing his own record from last year. Charlie placed 7th in the 100 free and 10th in the 200 free against six swimmers who are competing for the top 100 All American high school times for this season.

Freshman Charlotte Norman placed 4th in diving with a score of 385.25.  She is a great new addition to our swimming and diving team!

Three 8th graders, Christian McAuley, Egor Kuznetsov, and Carson Feehery, helped contribute to the team's overall 13th place finish as they swam in both the 200 medley relay with Matt and the 200 free relay with Charlie.  We are all waiting to see what they will do as they move into US next year!
